Summer Reading Link Up

As a teacher, I get summers off. While this is a perk of my job, it’s also a much needed break to recharge for the following school year. One of my favorite ways to recharge is reading and summer, with it’s beach trips and late nights, is a perfect time to read! I’ve listed some of the books on my to read list below, but I really want to know what everyone else is reading! So, I’ve created a link-up. Feel free to link up any summer reading (or favorite books) post!  I’ll be checking them all out for new books to read!

Currently reading:

Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris (Sookie Stackhouse series)

Dear John by Nicholas Sparks

Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin

Looking forward to reading:

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Dangerous Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

So, what’s on your reading list?

I still haven't gotten the books that inspired Game of Thrones! I'll try and grab it before this summer and I hope it swoops me in. I love getting caught up in a good book, and this is one I really need to see since the show is so good! Also, Fault in Our Stars is a must since I want to read it before seeing the movie.

I've found the GoT books to be a bit slower than I would have predicted. I think it's because I'm already so familiar with the story line from the show. I finished The Fault in Our Stars and I highly recommend it!
