I have not been the best at being healthy lately. I partially blame my busy schedule, but I know that’s not all to blame. However, I am viewing the summer and June as an opportunity for a fresh start. (I say June because school will be over and I’ll have time to really focus on what I’m putting in my body.  Plus, I’ve already set up pool times for exercising with mom.)

I’ve been doing little things to stay (somewhat) on track…

There are things I’ve been doing that I could do more often…

I’ve done a lot of thinking on what my problem is. I know how to be healthy – I’ve done lots of research. I know how to exercise. I just don’t follow through – I make bad decisions when I should be making good ones. I need something to motivate me. Since I realized that motivation is the problem, I decided I need a plan. Then, I decided I needed a plan with visuals and rewards. That is where I got my latest idea. I combined my knowledge of positive reinforcement with my Microsoft Publisher skills and created a fitness gameboard. I have decided to call this gameboard “The Fit Path”.  I’m giving you a preview below but I’ll be offering a more in-depth description on how I plan to use it and how you can use it to help you on your fitness path as well!!

I’m super excited about this and will be sharing all of the fun details next Tuesday, so make sure you check back in for an in-depth description and to download the (free) gameboard for yourself! Then, join me in June as I embark on a new fitness path!
