If you’ve followed my blog for any length of time, you’ll know that I resigned from my teaching position in order to move to California. One of the hardest questions to answer now is “What do you do?” Apparently a large part of defining ourselves comes from our job because this is often one of the first questions asked when you first meet someone.

For most of the summer, I just sort of stared at people and then went into a rather disjointed explanation of how I’m a teacher, but I just quit, and I’ll be moving and all. Then, it occurred to me that I may have quit my teaching job (for now) but I’m not jobless. I still have my Thirty One business that I started back in January. I can’t tell you how nice this realization felt.

Why am I telling you all of this? Well, this week is the Thirty One Conference in Columbus, OH and I’m making the trip up there with my mom. I’m super excited and I’m hoping to have pre-planned posts ready to go for the week, but in case I don’t, I wanted to clue you in about what I’m doing!

To celebrate getting to go to conference (I earned a lot of Conference stars so I’m not paying full price to go), I’m going to share a couple of my favorite bags and how I use them!

This is the Zip Top Organizing Utility Tote that I use to carry my work stuff in. I’ve also turned it into a gym bag this summer for my pole fit classes. I love all the extra pockets!

This is the Thermal Tote. I used it to carry my lunch. However, there are some new thermals out that I might use when I get a new job.

This is the Suite Skirt Purse! I love that I can change it’s look without changing purses!

This is probably my favorite bag ever! It’s the Vary You Wristlet. This is a great shot of the inside which is filled with compartments. I use it for a wallet or small purse. It fits everything I need in one spot!

This is my go-to bag for travel. It’s the Retro Metro Weekender. I can fit two weeks worth of winter clothes into this thing and it still fits in the overhead compartment of the plane. (I know this for a fact because it’s what I took to Arkansas this winter!)

I love the Deluxe Utility Totes. They can be used to carry things, pack things, or store things. They are just so versatile!

Wish me luck at conference! I’m off to schedule some posts for you lovely followers while I’m gone!
