The challenge for this week:
Summer Playlist. Write a post about the songs you are loving this summer.
This post could alternatively be titled “Songs that Fit My Life.” I’m going to share a few of my favorite songs and the stories of why they’re my favorites below.
“Daylight” by Maroon 5
This song came out right before I started long distance dating with J. It talks about a last night before going separate ways. Needless to say, this fit perfectly at the time!
“Wake Me Up” by Avicci
This is such a fun song! I love the beat and words. It fits perfectly with anything negative in life. There are plenty of times when you just want to “get through” the rough patches.
“Let Her Go” by Passenger
I have loved this song since I first heard it. I love things with unique beats and his voice is great!
“Demons” by Imagine Dragons
I love this group. They have so many songs that I truly enjoy. I had a hard time picking just one!
“Happy” by Pharrell Williams
This song describes how I’ve felt most of this summer. It’s hard not to be happy when you’re surrounded by friends and family and getting ready to embark on the biggest adventure of your life. 🙂
“Home” by Phillip Phillips
I have always loved this song. It seems very fitting for my upcoming move also!
I’m going to leave you with an old country favorite that features both states involved in my move.

Guess it’s “Tails California” for me for a while…
