Actually, the biggest inspiration for me is Pinterest and the second biggest one would be other bloggers. I love the ideas I come across when surfing the web.
Loving these tips Pam! One thing I haven't quite figured out yet though, what are blogging link ups and how do they work? 🙂
Allowing myself time when I get the urge.
Whenever I have an idea for a post I write them on a list on my phone and whenever I want to write I choose one

It's funny how hard number 12 is, I have only told a few friends that I blog and because its about makeup and I don't have any qualification I sometimes feel people will think I'm vain and shallow. Its important to be proud of the work you put into your blog no matter what the topic…haters gonna hate!
Thanks! I love that it was a total surprise. 🙂 Kind of an early birthday present!
Same here! I love finding new things (and new bloggers) on Pinterest.
A link-up is when a blog hosts a specific topic and then other blogs connect theirs to it. You end up with lots of links on the same topic.
Here's an example of a link up: http://www.thesitsgirls.com/community/october-25th-sharefest/
Here's a little more about them! http://www.thesitsgirls.com/blogging/how-to-start-maintain-blog-link-up/
There are link ups out there about all sorts of topics. You can often find them on google by searching a topic followed by "link up". Thanks so much for stopping by and let me know if you have more questions!
That one is important too! There are definitely times I have to stop and blog instead of doing what was scheduled!
I do this sometimes too! Or I write them in my planner if it's closer. 🙂 Great minds think alike!
I agree! That one is hard. It's gotten easier for me because I'm now across the country from my friends and family. My blog is now an opportunity for them to keep up with my life even when we're apart. It definitely takes time to get comfortable sharing it with friends and family. Critiques from strangers are easier than critiques from the people we're close to!
Great tips all but one I actually hate Fb and it really didn't help my blog but Twitter and Pinterest did so I got rid of FB. I am blogging just great without it lol!
I signed up for Influenster a while back and cannot for the life of me figure it out! HA!
Gah! I have so much to learn….when do you guys find the time? 🙁
I think the reason I keep Facebook around is my friends and family. Quite a few of them follow my blog through there. If it weren't for that, I would probably do away with it too!
It took me a while. I'm really not sure how they decide who gets what either!
Finding time is the hardest part! I actually schedule posts and social media things on the weekends or in the evenings while I'm watching Netflix with my husband. I find it helps me out if I have stuff prescheduled – then I'm not scrambling to get posts up each day!
These are some of the greatest tips! I'm still learning to manage my time better and don't spend too much time tweaking something. I've found that making a to do list at the beginning of the day in order of priority helps alot though!
Great tips! I still have so much to learn. I would love to join a blogging group/support group 🙂
