Today, we’re going to talk about the “honeymoon.” I know…I haven’t even talked about the wedding yet. Just bear with me!
The truth is we haven’t taken a honeymoon yet. Moving across the country, work, and deployments have made it rather hard to schedule one. We’re planning to do something at some point, but until then, I’m counting our trip from California to Arkansas (his home state and where we got married) as our honeymoon.
Why am I counting it as our honeymoon? Because we got to see this…
This picture doesn’t even give you a glimpse of the size of the Grand Canyon. It is a sight to behold, that’s for sure. It was one of those items on my list of things to see and I’m so glad we took a slight detour on our trip back to Arkansas to see it. We spent hours walking along it and let me tell you, it was so relaxing after spending so many days on the road! I’ve got many more stunning pictures of this landmark to share at a later date, but they first need to be pulled off of my DSLR and perfected. The picture above was taken with my simple point and shoot that goes everywhere with me.
Keeping it short and sweet today, just like our pseudo “honeymoon.” Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon? Are there any other landmarks you think I should add to my list?
