Guess what month it is? It’s birthday month! Here’s a random fact for you – my husband and I both have birthdays in October, exactly 3 weeks apart. His birthday is this Saturday (October 3) and mine is October 24. I’ll be 29…so close to that big 3-0! With both of our birthdays being in October, it’s easy to see why I call it birthday month. (Although, we’ll be celebrating them later this year due to deployment.)
Enough about birthdays though. This post is going to be all about my goals for October. I love setting new goals with each month and this month, I decided to share them on the blog.
For me, October means birthdays, renaissance faires, costumes, and a trip home. Yep – you read that right. I get to visit home this month which has me even more excited! I can’t wait for puppy dog kisses and playtime with my nephew. It also means pushing myself a little further than I did in September. You’ll see what I mean below.

– Workout everyday (I’m participating in a few different workout challenges this month.)
– Daily yoga pose
– Drink 64 oz (8 glasses) of water daily
– No soda
– Eat healthy 80% of the time
– Keep a photo food log for accountability
