2016 is almost here! At midnight, the clock will officially signal the arrival of 2016. I can't tell you how excited I am about the new year - we have big plans and adventures ahead of us. More on that at a later date though. For now, I want to take a quick glance back to the big moments of 2015 and share a few of the things coming in January to the blog!
Let's look back on 2015...
The year started with another deployment and I threw my focus into trying out the 21 Day Fix from Beachbody.
The biggest change of all came in May though when I quit my job. June also brought The Coastie Couple onto the blogging scene.
Things got a bit unpredictable in the fall as I adjust to another deployment and no job to keep me distracted. I continued to throw myself into finding my perfect workout in the meantime.
I ended the year with lots of ambition and my favorite series so far - Holiday Moments. The end of 2015 has inspired so many things for 2016.
Looking ahead to 2016, I've decided to make my word of the year "ambitious" because I have a lot of great ideas in mind for 2016. I'm going to be focusing on being more intentional in my monthly goals using Monthly Intentions, a new goal setting method that I had a lot of success with in December.
2016 will also see the return of Bloggy Brunch (check back Sunday!) and big, new things for Blogger PJ Party. P.S. The January date and time has been announced. Make sure you're a member so that you get all of the announcements!
I'll be launching Blog Intentions, a weekly newsletter series designed to help your blog, in 2016 as well. In fact, the first newsletter will go out next Wednesday, January 6. It'll be a little humpday delight each week! Make sure that you're signed up to receive the newsletter!
Other things in the works for 2016 include a special VIP group, weekly blog newsletter, and big things for Healthy Moments. I'm looking forward to making 2016 the best year yet for my blog. I hope you'll join me along the way!
Have you picked a word for 2016? Do you have big plans for the new year? I'd love to hear about them in the comments!
Oh and Happy New Year!
