Create a Yearly Memory Box

The new year is approaching fast and now is the perfect time to think ahead. Today, we're going to be talking about a do it yourself project that will help you remember to appreciate and enjoy the year. You'll be glad you made a memory box at the end of next year.

The steps for creating your box are quite simple.

1. Find a small box that you can use all year. I recommend using a shoe box or another box similar in size. You don't want the box to take up too much space - it should fit neatly on a shelf or in a closet.

2. Decorate your box. Use stikers, paint, glue, and any other craft supplies you have on hand. Get creative!

3. Store momentos from the year inside of the box. Go to a great movie? Save the ticket stub. Visit a neat place? Keep the brochure. My only tip is to put things that make you happy in the box. At the end of the year, this box will be a huge part of your New Year celebration!

4. At the end of the year, open the box and relive your favorite memories. You'll be surprised at how many things you forget during the year.

How do you remember the things that happen during the year?
