I have been on a quest to read more blogs lately. As I discover new blogs, I’ve been sharing them here on the blog each Friday. This is a special August segment that I hope you’re enjoying.

*This post contains affiliate links. They don’t harm you in any way, but they do help me get a little extra money to keep the blog up and running.*

The more blogs you read, the better off you are as a blogger. I’m a firm believer in this. Reading blogs gives you a chance to see what else is out there. It may also inspire you to write a post of your own. (Now, no copying of others works. It’s okay to be inspired – it’s not okay to copy. In fact, if someone does inspire a post, why not give them credit in your post?)

Today, I’ve decided to bring you a few of my favorite blogs. You can always check out my blog roll for more inspiration as well. I’m constantly adding to it.

Living Well, Spending Less
Ruth does a good job of sharing how she lives a happy life without breaking the bank. Her tips are practical and easy to implement. She’s also the blogger behind How to Blog for Profit, a book that I highly recommend to all bloggers.

By Regina
Regina’s website is a treasure trove of goodies for bloggers and entrepreneurs. I’m currently working my way through her Creative Action Plan and I’m loving the worksheets and activities she provides. The plan is making me think about things in a whole new light. It’s also showing me where my short comings are (cough…consistency…cough) which will help me grow as a blogger.

Living in Yellow
Honestly, I love the design and voice of this blog. This was one of the first blogs that I fell in love with – partially because of the simple, colorful design. I don’t read it as often as I used to but I do still check in from time to time because Erin makes it feel like you’re talking to your best friend.

Just a Girl and Her Blog
This is one of the blogs that I pin over and over again on Pinterest. Abby  has so many beautiful printables (many of them free!) and great ideas on how to keep your home and life organized. I love looking at her pictures and reading her tips. I’m sure I’ll be visiting her blog even more once we’ve finally moved into our new house.

Sunny Sweet Days
I cannot say enough good things about Krystal. She’s the force behind Bloggers Get Social which is a great resource for bloggers. She also shares a ton of fun, cute ideas on her blog. I highly recommend checking out her blog and social accounts – you won’t be disappointed!

I could keep going because there’s so many great blogs out there. I’ll keep the list short for now and come back next week with more for you to add to your list.

Have a blog of your own? Share it in the comments so that I can check it out! I love finding new blogs and making new friends.
