Tomorrow Baby Fox will be six months old. That’s half a year old. Where does the time go? I have some non-mommy posts coming up this month that I know you’re going to love, but I couldn’t let his half birthday go by without a post. I thought about doing a baby update post but I tend to keep those updates and pictures over on Instagram. I felt the blog needed something more special. So, I’m bringing you my bucket list of things to do in baby’s first year!
A baby’s first year is filled with so many “firsts” that they can get overwhelming. It seems as though every time I turn around, our little one is doing something new and different. He literally changes from day to day. I can’t control his firsts when it comes to abilities, but I can choose when he has his first experiences with things. There’s so many things that I want to experience with him and I thought I’d share a few of them below. Feel free to use these as a jumping off point for your own baby bucket list! (The ones with an asterisk have already happened!)
Go to the zoo.*
Play in water.*
Go out to eat.*
Go to the beach.
Go for a hike.
Play with sand.
Try new foods.*
Stay up past his bedtime.*
See fireworks.*
Go on a trip.
Pick out a toy.
Go sledding. (Since we live in the north now!)
Touch the snow.
Take monthly photos.*
Open presents.
Play at the park.
I know there’s many more that I’d like to add to this list. My sleep deprived brain is blanking right now. I’ll continue to come back and update this post as I think of more. In the meantime, I’d love to hear what you’d have on your list! (Feel free to share ideas even if you’re not a parent!)
