For some reason, I had a really hard time coming up with goals this month. I sat and thought about it for a while and realized that it was due to overwhelm. I currently have too many things on my plate for the amount of time that I have available. Realizing this has led me to my focus for September. I’ve chosen a few goals that all fit into my overall focus of simplifying my life. You’ll be seeing posts related to this process during the month of October. For now, I’m going to give you a sneak peek at some of the specific goals I’ve set for myself this month.

Focus: Simplify

Simplify our home:
Clean out items that we no longer use.
Create an organization system that works for all.
Make sure everything has a home of its own.

Simplify my blogs:
Update the layouts.
Get at least a week ahead on posts.
Create a system for scheduling social media.

Simplify my business endeavors.
Focus on one thing.
Read and complete The Conquer Kit.
Create a S.M.A.R.T. timeline for quarter 4.
Launch my beta program.

Additional Goals
Buy a minivan.
Plan for our first trip as a family of five.
Start Christmas shopping.
Make presents for Grandparents’ Day.
Implement a morning routine.
Improve my evening routine.
Read for 15 minutes before bed.

In addition to these goals, I’m going to be trying out a new system of accountability and motivation. If it’s successful for me this month, then I’ll share a little bit more about it next month. What goals do you have for the month? We’d love to check them out in the link up below!
