Morning Routine: Mantras
This month is all about working towards simple routines and systems that will allow me to increase productivity without sacrificing time with Baby Fox. One of the routines that I’m working on is my morning routine. Currently, it’s relatively non-existent and dependent on when the baby wakes and what we have planned for the day. I would like to have a few consistent features in my morning to help start the day off on a positive note.
I’ve read several books and blogs on the topic of setting a consistent morning routine. There’s a lot of power in starting off on the right foot in the morning. I’ll be sharing bits and pieces of my ideal morning routine (and eventually my successes and failures with it) over the next few posts. I’ve broken it up because I feel each part is important in a different way.
I’m starting off with mantras. I would love to incorporate a daily mantra or focus into my routine. Ideally, I would write this down during my morning routine and post it in one or more places where I’ll see it throughout the day. I find that sometimes a small phrase or quote is all it takes to get me back on a positive path when those rough moments hit. I’ve compiled some of my favorite mantras below in case you’re looking for inspiration for your own daily mantra! (You can easily change the “you” to “I” to make it more personal.)
