If you’ve been following the blog for a while, then you already know about my history as a teacher. If you haven’t, then I’ll fill you in quickly. I’ve taught for eight years in various grades from Kindergarten all the way up to fifth grade, with the younger grades being my favorite. I’m currently taking a break after moving and to prepare for the arrival of our baby boy. This little tidbit is important to know for today’s post.
I love crafting and I love working with kids. Teaching combines these two and that’s probably why I love it so much. Crafting with kids can get expensive and messy though if you’re not careful. When Nikki from Low Income Relief asked me to write a guest post that fit in with saving money, I was excited. It didn’t take me long to combine three of my loves into one post. (What are the three loves? Kids, crafts, and saving money of course!) Just click on the picture below to go to the post!
I’m not going to lie – I had a lot of fun making the fuzzy little guys that I shared on her blog. In fact, I can’t wait to make them with my own kids someday! Head on over to the post and check out just how easy it is to make a craft with kids that costs less than $2!
P.S. If you do make this craft, I’d love to see it! Share it on Instagram and tag me in it. 🙂
