I had every intention of writing this post on my actual birthday (yesterday). Life had other plans though, as it often does. Overall, I had a pretty good birthday, but I did keep things simple and easy.
We just got back from a two week trip to Arkansas to visit my in-laws. While we were there, we celebrated our birthdays with his family with special dinners and dessert of our choice. This meant that I got to indulge in brownies more than once, which made me a very happy girl! I also got some pretty nice gifts while I was there.
I enjoyed these celebrations, but I kept my actual birthday celebration very simple. The day started with some baby snuggles, bouncing, and Cheerios. After a solid nap and some playtime, I headed out with Baby Fox to do some shopping. I bought one or two fun items for both of us, but it was mostly an errands sort of trip. Even so, it was relaxing and laid back. Baby Fox does really well when we go shopping and I’m always getting compliments on how he’s such a happy baby. (Clearly, these strangers have never seen him at bedtime.)
After our outing, we came home and spent some time playing before giving Baby Fox a bath and putting him to bed. This was when I was supposed to write this blog post. Instead, I ended up talking to my mom on the phone for two hours followed by a lengthy conversation with my sister. I also indulged in a glass of wine and my first bath in our massive bath tub. (Yes, we’ve lived here a year and last night was my first time trying it out. Mom life has kept me busy.) All in all, it was a nice relaxing day filled with love and self care.
If you follow me on Facebook, then you’ll know that I also released my first paid product. I’ve spent a lot of time debating back and forth about things and only recently decided to dive in heart first. No more over thinking things – I’m simply putting my ideas into action and sharing them with the world!
So, what was this first product? It’s a collection of printables that I’ve made. Currently, there are ten printables available, but there will be more before long. You see, this is a growing collection of printables. You pay one price and you have access to it forever. This means that when it grows, you get the new printables without having to pay anything else. If I were to list these printables on Etsy, they would easily run between two and ten dollars (if not more). That means you’re getting a killer deal with this printable library.
Currently, the price for the entire collection is only $10. I must warn you though – the price will be doubling in November as I add in new printables. I’m including things from all categories, so there truly is a little something for everyone. This library is the perfect way to organize and manage your time more efficiently. I highly recommend heading over to check out the library before the price goes up.
I have several ecourses in rough draft stage right now as well. The first course, Moments that Work, will be released in November and I can’t wait. This course will walk you through creating a time management system that works for you. You’ll evaluate your current season of life and use that information to create a system that is custom made for you. I’ll be sharing previews and more information in my online community. I highly recommend joining us – there may just be a highly discounted pricing opportunity coming up!
That pretty much sums up how I kept my birthday simple and enjoyable. I can’t wait to share even more of what I’ve been working on in upcoming posts. In the meantime, I’d love to hear how your life is going. What has you excited at the moment?
